Responsibility
Traditional knowledge
Ayurveda and other traditional systems hold knowledge built over centuries by practitioners and communities. We use it with credit, within the law, and with benefit shared with those who hold it.
Our commitments
Credit
Classical texts, practitioner contributions and community sources are cited wherever they inform a model or a result.
Lawful use
We follow India's Biological Diversity Act and the rules on access and benefit-sharing, and respect the Traditional Knowledge Digital Library's terms.
Benefit-sharing
Where traditional knowledge contributes to a commercial outcome, benefit is shared under agreements made before the work, not after.
Testing, not dismissing
We test traditional claims against laboratory and clinical evidence and report what holds and what does not, in plain terms and with respect for the tradition.
Practitioners in the loop
Ayurveda practitioners review how traditional sources are interpreted, and sit on the advisory group.
